Two sets of identical cards containing 60 flags of the world and the name of the country that the flag represents are shown. A volunteer selects one set consisting of two cards and secretly circles one country and then places both cards into an envelope. The volunteer is then shown a number of cards that appear to have nothing on the back and have the names of countries listed on the front and is asked if they see the name of the country they have chosen. AT NO TIME DOES THE PERFORMER LOOK AT THE LIST ON THE FRONT OF THE CARDS.

By simple “yes” or “no” answers, the performer is able to identify which flag & country has been chosen. The performer takes the identical set of 60 flags and secretly circles one of the flags. The volunteer is then asked to remove the cards from the envelope and to reveal it to the audience. The performer then reveals the flag he has circled.
